State Fair to feature Indiana Grown Marketplace

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Fair, Aug. 2 through 18, will feature Indiana-based products from all over the state at the Indiana Grown Marketplace.

The marketplace will be in the agriculture/horticulture building featuring more than 500 products from more than 100 Indiana Grown members, with the products available for purchase.

Indiana Grown will feature regular demonstrations of recipes and interviews with farmers at noon, 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. each day of the fair. There will also be a culinary competition featuring Hoosier cooks at 1 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Indiana Arts Building.
