Two arrested during warrant service at apartment complex

Officers from Columbus Police Department’s Intelligence Led Policing Unit arrested two people with multiple warrants at a Columbus apartment complex.

Officers went to the 3600 block of Nicholas Lane at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday to serve a warrant, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

The officers observed Christopher C. Mullins, 45, of Columbus walking up to an apartment.

Two warrants were confirmed for Mullins’ arrest and he was taken into custody without incident, Harris said. A short time later, officers located Woody D. Bryant, 40, of Clifford, inside a nearby apartment and he was placed under arrest for three local warrants, Harris said.

Mullins and Bryant were taken to the Bartholomew County Jail. Mullins was arrested on the two warrants and a preliminary charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bryant was arrested on the warrants.
