Bull Dogs rout Cougars

BLOOMINGTON — Columbus North had little trouble Friday night in rolling to a 64-30 Conference Indiana win at Bloomington North.

The Bull Dogs (14-7, 3-2) jumped out to a 37-18 halftime lead. They lead 52-22 before cruising in the fourth quarter.

Alexa McKinley led North with 14 points, while Sierra Norman and Lauren Barker each scored 12. Kylah Lawson added nine.

Jets snap losing skid

AURORA — Hauser snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 50-37 win at South Dearborn.

Aunaka Wasil led the Jets (7-14) with 12 points. Kyliegh Parrott scored nine, and Shelby Fugate added eight.

Eagles win WIC title

NASHVILLE — Brown County won the Western Indiana Conference championship with a 65-30 victory against South Putnam.

The Eagles improved to 14-5.

Columbus Christian falls

EVANSVILLE — Columbus Christian was within 26-21 at halftime, but Evansville Christian pulled away for a 58-43 Southern Roads Conference win.

C.J. Reed led the Crusaders (8-20, 2-3) with 13 points. Gabe Ridder added 11, and Jacob Conrad had nine.

South Decatur rolls

GREENSBURG — Junior Lane Lauderbaugh went over the 1,000-point mark for his career in Class 2A No. 3 South Decatur’s 67-36 win against Centerville.

Lauderbaugh finished with 21 points to lead the Cougars (14-0). Tyler Sporleder scored 10, and Dominic Walters added nine.

Panthers fall in OT

FLOYDS KNOBS — Jennings County took a Floyd Central team that has been ranked at times this season to overtime before the Highlanders pulled out a 49-46 Hoosier Hills Conference decision.

Jacob Vogel led the Panthers (8-6, 1-3) with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Trey Wilson added 12 points and nine rebounds.

Lancers down Spartans

EDINBURGH — Southwestern (Shelby) led 36-35 going to the fourth quarter, but Edinburgh rallied for a 61-49 Mid-Hoosier Conference win.

Caleb Dewey led the Lancers (4-11, 3-1) with 23 points. Travis Jones added 16, and Isaac Roberts had 11.

Stars nip Bull Dogs

BEDFORD — Bedford North Lawrence pulled out a come-from-behind decision in the final match at 145 pounds Thursday night to claim a 39-36 win against Columbus North.

Nick Holt (170), Junior Morales (126) and Keandre Watson (138) all won by pin for the Bull Dogs. Tristen Dyette (152), Hector De Dios (160) and Zeppelin Mouser (106) won by forfeit.
