Fundraising supper set for March 11

A fundraising supper will be held for local resident and leukemia patient Rosemary Albright from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. March 11 at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 6045 E. State St. south of Columbus. The meal will include barbecued pork, hot dogs, macaroni and cheese and more for donations of any amount. Money will help the family cover medical expenses.

Albright, a member of St. Paul’s, was diagnosed with leukemia on Dec. 31, according to event organizers. She was admitted for a month of intense impatient chemotherapy at Franciscan Health Indianapolis St. Francis two days later. Due to the aggressive nature of her leukemia, doctors  are hoping to find a match for a bone marrow transplant. Potential bone marrow donor kits will be available at the event.

Those unable to attend the supper can make donations to the church.
