1) When cellist Leo Altino last performed as a soloist with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic in 2017, he earned a standing ovation. The artist returns locally at 7:30 p.m. March 28 to First Christian Church, 526 Fifth St. as he and wife, prize-winning violinist Soh-Hyun join forces with the Philharmonic for Johannes Brahms’ celebrated Double Concerto. David Bowden, the orchestra’s artistic director, has promised that no one should miss celebrated composer and Bowden friend Dan Forrest’s new choral work, “Jubilate Deo,” based on Psalm 100. 2) The first time I saw the local band Back In the Day live was at an outdoor summer event in 92-degree heat — and the ensemble ripped through the most sizzling cover of Boston’s “Foreplay/Long Time” I had ever heard. The veteran group brings its covers of classic pop-rock acts such as Styx, The Eagles, Foreigner, Journey, Yes, Fleetwood Mac and others to a multi-media concert at 7:30 p.m. March 28 at Brown County Playhouse, 70 S. Van Buren St. in Nashville. Trust me — if you’ve never heard them, you’re missing reliving a wonderful slice of the Seventies. Information: browncountyplayhouse.org

3) Columbus native Allie Lee and husband Frank Lee continue their top-notch musical meanderings. Their newest disc, “Treat A Stranger Right,” was released on Feb. 7 and quickly became the No. 1 album on the national folk radio charts. The duo who perform nationwide will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at The Harlequin Theatre inside FairOaks Mall, 2380 25th St. in Columbus. Information: brownpapertickets.com
