Hill suspended from practicing law for 30 days

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Supreme Court has suspended Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill from practicing law for 30 days.

In a ruling issued this morning, the court found he violated professional conduct rules.

The suspension takes effect May 18 and he will be automatically reinstated at the end of the 30 days, according to the court order.

The disciplinary action is the result of allegations made two years ago where four women accused Hill of groping them in a bar at a party at the end of the legislative session. A lawsuit filed by the women was dismissed in March in federal court.
