IUPUC will be hosting the first in a series of online discussion forums titled “Timely Topics” beginning with a Mid-Year Economic Outlook panel at noon Wednesday, sponsored by the Division of Business and the Center for Business and Economic Development.
IUPUC faculty members Ryan Brewer and Steven Mohler will provide updated information from the Business Outlook Panel discussion held in November, 2019, and explore economic factors impacting our state and local communities as well as national and international markets.
The second program in the series will be held at noon Aug. 12. The discussion topic is Privacy in the Digital Age, and will feature presentations by IUPUC professors Kevin Jones and Jon Padfield. The forum will address challenges, issues, and concerns regarding data privacy, including the implications of sacrificing data privacy, and discuss actions people can take toward regaining personal data privacy.
