Bartholomew County under slight risk for severe weather tonight

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County remains under a slight risk for severe weather tonight, with storms arriving between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. although that timing could shift to as early as 7 p.m.

Main threats include damaging wind in excess of 70 mph, possible hail, lightning and flash flooding.

Severe Thunderstorm Watches will be expanded this afternoon and evening across Indiana. Widespread power outages can be expected on top of the previously discussed threats.
