BANISTER FAMILY BLUEGRASS BAND ON THE PLAZA, 6 to 7 p.m., Aug. 21, Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Talks, lectures, classes

WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO? The Where Does Your Money Go? Free online program will guide participants through the creation of their spending and savings plan and provide practical resources for them to use in their own lives. The six-module course includes videos, interactive activities, self-assessments and downloadable spending tracking forms. The program is self-paced and can be completed at the viewer’s convenience. Participants should allow approximately four to six weeks to complete the modules and associated activities. After completion of the course, participants will understand how current money management practices affect financial security, how to establish good financial management practices and new habits that create personal financial security. Best practices that will be explored and discussed include identifying spending leaks, categorizing needs vs. wants, tracking expenses and establishing written financial goals. VET-TO-VET DISCUSSION, 5:10 p.m., Mondays, Mill Race Center, 900 Lindsey St., Columbus. Hour-long, facilitator-led group discussion with others who have served in the military. Attendees able to share experiences with fellow veterans.

Sports, exercise, wellness

BEGINNER PICKLEBALL FOR ADULTS, 5:30 to 7 p.m., Aug. 27, Sept. 3, 10, Donner Park Pickleball Courts, at Sycamore St. & 17th St., Columbus. Learn to play one of the fastest growing sports in America! Wear comfortable clothing, proper footwear, bring a chair to rest during breaks, bring your own water & sport drink for hydration, a mask, and hand sanitizer. Galleries, museums, exhibits

GALLERY 506, Columbus Indiana Visitors Center, 506 Fifth St., Columbus. The “Balthazar Korab: Photographer of Architecture” exhibit continues in Gallery 506, black and white historic photos of iconic Columbus architecture. “Avenue of the Architects,” an exhibition by Ball State students in architecture and historic preservation began July 1. Open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed on Sundays.

SHARING THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday though Thursday, Bartholomew County Historical Society, 524 Third St., Columbus. The exhibit, designed by RedBox of Chicago, includes a detailed timeline with items from the BCHS collection, a hands-on map table that features maps dating back to the early 1800s, a “notable people” wall and a “then and now/did you know?” carousel full of fun facts. T.C. STEELE STATE HISTORIC SITE, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Hoosier Artist Gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mosaic and felted wool artist Sally Kinsey and woodworker Don Wood are featured at Hoosier Artist Gallery. Kinsey creates colorful mosaic mirrors, sculptures, and jewelry and needle felts wool into whimsical animals, wall hangings, and lampshades.
