• Hannah at Kroger Starbucks for going out of her way to get to know her customers and be a friendly face every morning.

• Bret Findley and everyone at CSA Lincoln for doing an amazing job getting our children back to school safely.

• Former Sen. Jeff Flake and over two dozen “Republicans for Biden.”

• the amazing staff at Southside Elementary for a great first two weeks of school!

• the group bringing attention to the fact that female voters matter.

• Carolina, a dog groomer at Barkefellers who did a fantastic job and is so nice.

• those who remember the candidate who said, “What do you have to lose? and now know it’s our livelihoods, jobs, health care, lives, and our ability to vote or get prescription drugs through the mail.

• the Dollar Tree employee early Saturday morning who helped us with a balloon.

• those who understand why ballots cannot just be universally sent to everyone.

• President Trump for all his hard work in making America great again.

• Sandy Carmichael for her spot-on letter.

Onions to …

• the candidate whose family labels him as unprincipled, untrustworthy, a liar and unfit for office.

• whoever thought it was a good idea to create a rehabilitation home in the middle of the soccer complex where thousands of kids gather.

• establishing a rehabilitation home so close to an elementary school.

• sick people wandering in the mall because they can’t figure out how to get into the COVID-19 testing site.

• workers who took a perfectly good, paved, heavily-walked and enjoyed road and made it a tarry mess with their chip and seal.

• those who don’t realize a true leader would never give anyone a derogatory nickname.

• the federal elected representative who once lived up to high standards, but has very much lowered them working for those he represents.

• the federal elected official claiming the 2020 mail-in ballots may never be fully counted despite the fact that he votes with mail-in ballots.

• the letter writer bashing the administration’s response to the COVID-19 crisis.

• anyone who cared about last week’s political convention.

• school district allowing students on COVID-19 self quarantine to still participate in extracurriculars.

• school system for lacking concern about the emotional well-being of school employees, as they were not given any choices.

• the arrogant man carrying a gun while shopping in a local store, bragging to the greeter about refusing to wear a mask — no one deserves to be intimidated like that.

• the candidate choosing the low road of negatively attacking the incumbent.

• the town officials for ineptness in handling the project.

• the federal elected official who pardoned a criminal so he won’t tell the truth.

• livestreaming football games, but not soccer.

• giving the protestors what they want and all they want then is more.

• speakers for not calling out the rioters in the streets.

• the elderly guy who stole my lower dentures out of my truck.
