• all the compassionate people who continue to wear masks without complaints because you care for the wellbeing of others.

• those who pray for Joe Biden in his quest for the presidency so our country does not become an authoritarian country.

• Marilyn Hayes for her well-developed letter.

• Lee Hamilton for stressing country engagement.

• Billie Evancamp and Addy for the cupcakes and the apple crisp.

• G.H. Patriot for the ad listing reasons why President Trump should be re-elected.

• the town council member for her dedication to the community.

• President Trump and Vice President Pence for their leadership.

• President Trump who supports conservative Supreme Court Justices and our Constitution.

• the company that removed the row of dead trees from the center of Talley Road South.

• parents refusing to have sick school-aged children tested for COVID-19.

• people not understanding the importance of making peace deals with foreign countries.

• stores not honoring digital coupons unless on your phone.

• socialism for oil companies and farmers but nothing for those who actually need the help.

• the federal elected official who’s tough on a foreign country by paying more in taxes to them than to us.

• the federal elected official who was a coward and acted childishly, walking away when a journalist asked tough questions.

• people not realizing there isn’t a way to “flatten the curve” to prevent overwhelming the mental health industry.

• the administration ignoring CDC guidance and continuing rallies without social distancing and little masking, as COVID-19 deaths increase.

• those voting for a candidate when his running mate accused him of being racist.

• those who sell their grandkids belongings because they were angry at the father.

• the administration for lack of leadership because the virus is now uncontrollable.

• falsely accusing an employee over staff lounge conversation — perhaps you should have been there for the entire conversation.

• the federal elected official who stormed out of the interview as he had with congressional counterparts and adversaries, showing that when the going gets tough, he quits.

• the local store not requiring clerks to wear a mask.

• officials misguidedly believing campaigning is more important than their own pandemic task force guidelines because rules apply to everyone but them.

• the federal leader who promised we would see his tax returns and “big beautiful” health plan, but after nearly four years, has produced neither.

• top officials who are desperate to win this election because they know they will be facing indictments as soon as they leave office.

• those decrying what they consider to be socialism as they collect their Social Security and Medicare checks every month.

• the store owner who was angry and rude to the elderly couple whose truck broke down and pulled off the road into their parking lot and didn’t let the couple explain.

• the officiating crew at the football game for totally blowing the last play.

• whoever took the crystal cross off my husband’s gravestone at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

• the thief stealing the political flags on a restaurant.

• the federal elected officials refusing to wear masks that could still save lives.
