Radio show to address addiction and faith

A local radio program will offer information about ministries in Bartholomew and surrounding counties that offer support and help to families and loved ones dealing with drug addiction.

On "The Chat with Nita Evans," area business owner Mischelle Moffett will be interviewed about her walk of faith and how she and her husband have dealt with the crisis of their son’s addiction to illegal drugs and its devastating effects brought to their home.

Evans, chaplain for the Columbus Police Department, said the goal of the program is to inform, encourage, uplift and offer hope.

The episode will air on radio station 91.1 FM WYGS on Saturday and on March 13 from 9 to 10 a.m.
