Meeting set for ladies golf leagues

The Monday Evening Ladies League at Greenbelt will meet at 5:15 p.m. Monday.

Weather permitting, play also will begin that day. This is a nine-hole league and open to any ladies looking to have fun.

Columbus East girls soccer holding callout

The Columbus East girls soccer team will have a callout meeting at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the school’s cafeteria.

All players who are interested in playing soccer at Columbus East HS next year and their parents are encouraged to attend. The coaching staff will provide information regarding the program, expectations and the preseason schedule.

Jennings selling spaces for Hwy. 50 yard sale

The Jennings County High School Athletic Booster Club is selling spaces in the front parking lot of the high school for the Highway 50 Yard Sale on May 22 and 23.

Two spaces can be purchased for $50, with each additional space available for $25. Those interested can pay for spaces with cash in the athletics office.
