INDIANAPOLIS — Fourth-ranked Columbus North remained unbeaten with a 5-0 win against Terre Haute South in a match played at Southport.

Ashlie Wilson beat Lainey Anshutz at No. 1 singles, and Kathryn Wilson blanked Ainsley Manalatsat at No. 2 singles, both by 6-0, 6-0 scores for the Bull Dogs (12-0, 3-0). Arya Gotoh downed Briley Ireland 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

North’s Tiffany Fu and Leah George topped Sydney Williams and Morgan Williams 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Sydney Cooper and Zoe Bishop defeated Emily Wilson and Ayden Zinkovich 7-6 (4), 7-6 (4) at No. 2 doubles.

INDIANAPOLIS — Hauser swept the singles matches in a 4-1 win at Indianapolis Lutheran.

Andie Clark beat Ella Wiegand 6-4, 4-6, (10-8) at No. 1 singles, Bella Kilps aowned Allie Templin 6-1, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and Kaitlynn Everroad topped Katie Rose 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3 singles for the Jets (7-3). Charlie Clark and Gabby Johns defeated Maddy Franklin and Rachel Bolton 6-1, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.

Hauser’s Aunaka Wasil and Emily Harker fell to Cece Awrey and Jocey Sneed 4-6, 7-5, (10-5) at No. 2 doubles.

Vikings edge Eagles

WEST TERRE HAUTE — Brown County won both doubles matches, but West Vigo swept the singles matches, pulling out a three-set win at No. 3 singles, to claim a 3-2 Western Indiana Conference victory.

Londyn Koester and Katie Tipton beat Maddie Bradenby and Abigail Meehan 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles for the Eagles (6-5, 4-1). Mattie Satter and Abi Bowman topped Corrine Houghton and Ellie Davis 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

Brown County’s Julia Williams fell to Kaitlin Whiteford 6-2, 1-0, injury default at No. 1 singles. Anna Tipton lost to Ellie Easton 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 soingles, and Anna Stogsdill fell to Avery Lasecki 7-6 (5), 6-7 (3), 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

Panthers fall to Owls

SEYMOUR — No. 29 Seymour won all five matches in straight sets in a 5-0 win against Jennings County.

Reagan Brown fell to Brooke Schaftstall 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Tatum Brown lost to Sandy Cerino 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Carmen Kopitzke fell to Valeria Ramirez 7-5, 6-1 at No. 3 singles for the Panthers (10-4).

Jennings’ Liz Ertel and Sydney Carson lost to Mallory Moore and Avery Ragon 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Cassidy Mull and Lucy Brown fell to Madalyn Burke and Elise Hartung 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.

Crusaders rout Tigers

CROTHERSVILLE — Columbus Christian didn’t score in the first inning, but put up 39 runs over the next four in a 39-1, five-inning victory at Crothersville.

Drew Robison went 6 for 7 with a double and two RBIs, and Gabe Ridder went 4 for 5 with six RBIs for the Crusaders (3-4), who pounded out 28 hits. Joel Flint went 2 for 3 with four RBIs, and Josh Conrad and Isaac Ridder each went 2 for 3.

Jacob Conrad and Levi Hargis each went 2 for 4 with two RBIs, and Owen Reed went 2 for 4, Parker Walden went 2 for 5 with a double and five RBIs, and Cam Watts-Pritchard went 2 for 5 with two RBIs. Daniel Combs had three RBIs, and Ethan Nickerson added two RBIs.

Jordan Burton threw a four-hitter.

BOYS GOLF

Olympians take second

Columbus East finished second in a tri match at Otter Creek. Seymour won with a 170 to 175 for the Olympians and 193 for New Albany.

Kody Reynolds led East with a 40. Cole Schaefer carded a 41, Pierce Arnholt added a 46, Spencer Erfmeier shot 48, Jamall Starks had a 50 and J.T. Kuhlman finished with a 51.

Patriots top Eagles

NASHVILLE — Brown County fell to Owen Valley 185-232 at Salt Creek.

Cooper VanNess led the Eagles with a 46. Clay Austin carded a 60, Bradley Arndt added a 61, Jordan Burnett shot 65 and Dylan Taylor had a 70.
