Historical Society to have ‘Day on the Farm’

COLUMBUS, Ind. — With summer nearly officially here, the Bartholomew County Historical Society has some free outdoor, hands-on family activities planned from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Henry Breeding Farm, 13730 N. County Road 100W near Edinburgh. Visitors can get a taste of life on an early 1900s farm.

The morning includes butter making, ice cream making, cast iron cooking, gardening, stories, make-and-take activities and more, according to organizers. Over the years, these events have been extremely popular.
