Mary Alice Johnson, 91, of Hickory, NC formerly of Columbus, died February 21, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Johnson; parents, Virgil and Beatrice (Bailey) Cash; son, Larry Johnson; brothers, Glen and Gerald Cash; and sister, Margie Laskowski.
Survivors include her loving children, Brenda Horvath of Hickory, NC, Dianna Johnson of Clermont, FL, Luther Johnson of Columbus, and Timm Johnson of Chandler, AZ; grandchildren, Steven Johnson, Stephanie Horvath, Zachary Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Brandon Johnson and Mark Johnson; seven great-great grandchildren; and brother, Gene Cash of Ward, AR. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Myers-Reed Chapel with Betty Pluris officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
