BENNINGTON, Vermont - In a story May 4 about Federal Emergency Management Agency funding for flood repairs in Bennington, The Associated Press reported erroneously that FEMA agreed to fully fund removal of woody debris that had collected against bridges and that it did not pay to fund most of the sediment removal. FEMA did reimburse for most sediment removal, while debris removal was reimbursed at a lesser amount.
