Toll system being installed on RI Sakonnet bridge

NEWPORT, Rhode Island - The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority is installing an electronic toll system on the new Sakonnet River Bridge that Authority Chairman David Darlington said will likely be in place by the weekend but will take about six weeks to wire and test, the Newport Daily News reported.
