JUNEAU, Alaska - "Cancer's not the worst thing you can get," warned Michael George Patterson, a Juneau resident who has become a spokesperson for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in their new anti-smoking campaign. Patterson knows firsthand, as he was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD) at age 44.
