JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri - Missouri congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer (LOOT'-keh-my-er) says the CEO of Boeing has plenty of good things to say about Missouri - but he isn't tipping his hand about whether Missouri will get a new airplane assembly plant.
WASHINGTON - A survey of chief executives at the largest U.S. companies shows a growing number are slightly more optimistic about the economy's prospects for the next six months and expect to boost hiring.
CHESTERFIELD, Missouri - As suitors across the country line up hoping to land a new Boeing Co. commercial aircraft manufacturing plant and its thousands of high-paying jobs, Gov. Jay Nixon on Wednesday stressed the company's Show-Me State roots and vowed to compete aggressively against the other bidders.
