ST. LOUIS - A former U.S. senator from Indiana who helped lead a city-county government merger in that state is sharing his lessons with proponents of a similar effort in St. Louis.
INDIANAPOLIS - Former senators Richard Lugar of Indiana and Sam Nunn of Georgia say they're pleased that efforts to disarm Ukraine of its nuclear weapons worked two decades ago, but they caution that the threat from weapons of mass destruction around the world is still high.
WASHINGTON - Republican senators are attacking GOP challengers earlier and more aggressively than in past elections, including using opposition research to try to knock out upstart rivals before they become serious threats.
