Franklin

• Thefts

• • Sally Beauty Supply, 1810 N. Morton St.: Two girls attempted to steal nail strengthener, valued at $7. They were barred from the store.

• • 900 block of Hurricane Street: A man reported at 7:53 p.m. Tuesday that an air conditioning unit was stolen from his apartment. A former roommate is suspected.

Battery

• 3000 block of North Morton Street: A woman reported at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday that her son shoved her and punched a hole in the wall of their residence. The woman’s fiance struck her son, who then swung and punched him back. The boy was transported to the Johnson County juvenile detention center.

Criminal mischief

• 800 block of Walnut Street: A woman reported at 11:22 a.m. Tuesday that a pizza delivery sign was attached to the front of her father’s truck.

Property-damage accidents

• • 5:26 p.m. Saturday — 2125 N. Morton St.

• • 2:05 p.m. Saturday — Johnson Avenue and Pratt Street

• Thefts

• • Greenwood Park Mall, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 2:01 p.m. Tuesday to a report of theft from a vehicle.

• • Macy’s, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 3:14 p.m. Tuesday to a report of theft. A woman was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail.

• • 900 block of East County Line Road: A man reported at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday that his vehicle was stolen.

• • Von Maur, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday to a report that three girls were fleeing from a loss-prevention employee.

• • 600 block of Harmony Way: Police responded at 6:14 p.m. Tuesday to a report of theft.

• • Von Maur, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 8 p.m. Tuesday to a report of theft.

• • 700 block of Wooddale Terrace: Police responded at 6 a.m. Wednesday to a report of theft of a vehicle.

Criminal mischief

• • 700 block of Wooddale Terrace: Police responded at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday to a report of criminal mischief.

• • 600 block of Wooddale Terrace: Police responded at 12:04 p.m. Tuesday to a report of criminal mischief.

• • 100 block of Barbara Drive: Police responded at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to a report that someone threw landscape rocks in a man’s yard.

Personal-injury accidents

• • 2:34 a.m. Wednesday — Worthsville Road and Emerson Avenue: Robert D. Richards, 21, Greenwood; and Marcus A. White, 22, Whiteland. Richards reported back pain, and White reported chest pain.

• • 8:42 p.m. Saturday — U.S. 31 and Main Street: Clarence E. Taylor, 71, Greenwood; and Sanford L. Ragland, 40, Indianapolis. Taylor reported minor head bleeding.

Johnson County

• Thefts

• • 2000 block of Willow Lakes East Boulevard: A man reported at 10:04 a.m. Tuesday that someone stole his hose reel, hose, tool bag, basket, spray nozzle and yard sprinkler between noon Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday. The items were in front of his residence and were valued at $110.

• • 4900 block of Olive Branch Road: A man reported at 2:31 p.m. Tuesday that two power tools were stolen from where he and his employees were working between 12:31 and 1:31 p.m. Tuesday. The tools were a nail gun and 18-volt saw, valued at a total of $600.

• The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

• Michael Travis Lynch, 34, 4689 Runyon Lake Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of probation revocation; held without bond.

• Lorena G. Allen, 44, 734 Reed St., Columbus; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; released on $300 bond.

• Brian Edward Horton, 44, 483 S. Windmill Trail, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; released on $1,000 bond.

• Kandice A. Hobbs, 25, 7221 S. Center Line Road, Nineveh; arrested on a charge of contempt; released on $250 bond.

• Sarah Elizabeth Berry, 26, 2920 S. Bluff Road, Apt. 1, Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $2,500 bond.

• Kimberly Suzan Haggard, 46, 2006 Conservation Club Road, Morgantown; arrested on a charge of theft or receiving stolen property; held on $6,000 bond.

• Jeremy Ray Mack, 23, 3026 Hornaday Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of theft; held on $6,000 bond.

• Brittany Sheri Maddox, 21, 7819 Rea Road, Apt. 194, Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $550 bond.

• Ivan J. Meadors, 20, 4701 Cork Court, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana or hashish; held on $1,000 bond.

The following person recently was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and booked into jail:

• Ted Michael Miller, 54, 250 Arthur Road, Paragon; released on $3,000 bond.
