  • the individual who found my debit card in the Kroger parking lot and turned it in to the customer service desk, from a grateful owner.
  • all those donating clothing and toys to Orphan Grain Train after Saturday’s Kids Resale event at Northside Middle School, from the staff.
  • the girls at Aldi for going above and beyond and finding me two clothes racks at another Aldi store and shipping them to me in two days, from Jim Abbott.
  • Bob Snively for his wonderful letter to the editor.
  • Dr. Shedd, Dr. Raymer, ER staff and third-floor staff at CRH for great care and compassion for myself and my wife, from Doyle Rich and family.
  • QMIX for the awesome office party, from the girls at Kindred.
  • Hope Vet Clinic for the special care and compassion for Ellie, from Maxine Ellis.
  • the woman picking up the trash on the 17th Street side of the old ArvinMeritor building.

Onions to…

  • the company cutting down all the beautiful trees.
  • people who throw trash out their car windows onto sidewalks and streets.
  • the driver whose view out the back of her car is obscured by stuff packed into the back seat and deck of her car.
  • the driver of black SUV who ran the red light when I had the right of way, then cut me off at the establishment and kept her headlights on my face while I was in the drive-thru.
  • coaches who never learn from their mistakes, causing hard-working players to continually pay the price.
  • the passengers in the van driving back and forth in a local subdivision who constantly throw their fast-food trash out the window.
  • kids getting on the bus in the dark so we can have one extra hour of daylight to play golf.
  • the cable company that makes you watch commercials on free movies.
