  • high school coaches who encourage their players to be multisport athletes.
  • Julie at Aton’s Storage for going above and beyond for your friends at Sans Souci.
  • Sarah Kushman, Siv McNeely, Lindsay Wheatley, Kelly Harmon and each of their crews for stuffing and delivering first-day Richards Rosters to classroom teachers, from Richards’ office personnel.
  • all who contributed, helped set up and priced items, and especially Post 24 Ladies Auxiliary for organizing, and those who purchased items for American Legion Post 24’s recent fundraiser.
  • Bob Poynter for helping out over the weekend.
  • Teresa at Larry Nunn and Associates for her help with my problem Tuesday, from a longtime customer.
  • Rich and Ro for the fresh produce Saturday, from Virgie.
  • the two officers that came to Tannehill when we had our spin, were very nice and did everything they possibly could, from Roger and Hazel Lee.

  • city officials for charging a reasonable fee to maintain our parking garages without raising taxes, from a senior citizen.
  • Don and Judy Curry for the food they brought to me since my surgery, from Jimmie and Reba McGaha.
  • Melody at Walgreens on National Road for all the help with the photo book, from Roberta.

Onions to…

  • the city for building a parking garage with taxpayer dollars, containing 396 parking spots, and only 94 are open to the public.
  • the organization that hires people who dress unprofessionally, are late for interviews and training, don’t follow the polices and then expects them to be model employees.
  • those that think because they go to church on Sunday they don’t have to obey the law.
  • the city for wanting to spend $3 million to $4 million on an amphitheater but does not want to repair the shoulders on Deaver Road.
