COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus police arrested two Columbus men this morning who dawdled a little too long in a McDonald's parking lot after allegedly trying to pass a counterfeit $100 bill for a breakfast purchase at the drive-through window.

The men arrested were identified as Jimmy D. Miller, 34, and Brandon Fields, 31. Both were arrested on charges of forgery-counterfeit, a Class C felony that could result in two to eight years in jail if they're convicted.
