COLUMBUS, Ind. — About 60 high school musicians and vocalists will compete Saturday in the annual Brown music competition coordinated by Heritage Fund: The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County.
The event at First Christian Church includes the Betty F. Brown Awards for Instrumental Excellence and Anna Newell Brown Awards for Vocal Excellence.
Instrumental competition will begin at 8 a.m. in the sanctuary. Vocal competition will begin at 9 a.m. in the chapel.
