COLUMBUS, Ind. — Police said 80 packs of cigarettes were stolen Thursday night during the burglary of a gas station at 25th and Chestnut streets.
Columbus Police Department officers responded at 10:30 p.m. Thursday to an alarm at the Marathon station and found the front glass door broken.
No suspects were at the station, and various brands of cigarettes worth about $500 were the only items missing, said Lt. Matt Myers, spokesman for the Columbus Police Department.
Officers collected evidence at the scene, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Jim Worton at 376-2600.
