Columbus Mayor Kristen Brown and city department heads, including Police Chief Jason Maddix, will attend a 9th Street Park neighborhood meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be at Second Baptist Church, 1325 10th St. Updates about community policing, code enforcement, and plans for housing improvement programs in the neighborhood will be discussed.
Carl Malysz, director of community development, will begin discussions on a spring neighborhood cleanup campaign.
City officials will also explain how to apply for homeowner housing rehabilitation funding offered by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority.
