Columbus’ annual ArtFest last weekend drew an estimated 2,500 to 3,000 visitors to a four-block stretch of Washington Street over the two-day run, event organizer Bob Anderson said.
“Most of the artists were happy,” Anderson said. “People seemed to buy a lot of things.”
During the event, 90 local, regional and national artists and artisans working in a variety of media showcased their work in downtown booths for prospective buyers.
The number of attendees over two days this year was roughly the same as last year’s one-day festival.
Anderson cited high heat and humidity as holding attendance down.
