City police are investigating a report of an assault on a man walking in Donner Park shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday.
Police said a man riding a bike came up to the pedestrian and asked for the victim's wallet. When the victim said he didn't have a wallet, the bicycle rider pushed him down and kicked him several times, according to a police report.
Columbus Police Department spokesman Matt Myers said the victim had scratches on his face and hands. The attacker was last seen riding a bike toward 25th Street, Myers said.
