State labor workshops have been scheduled several days next week to help former employees of Hostess Brands and its Dolly Madison plant on National Road in Columbus learn about federal benefits being offered in the wake of that facility's closure in November.
The Indiana Workforce Development agency plans a series of meetings, including several in-person sessions in Columbus on Thursday.
Under the federal Trade Adjustment Assistance Act, former Hostess employees may be eligible for wage supplements, or assistance with job training, medical insurance and job-hunting services among various programs.
