Best bet: Your entertainment tips of the week

You could spend the next few days soaking up bad television or good television reruns. But — and this is the important thing — it’s reruns. Why not get out and savor the community in which you live?

The Bartholomew County 4-H Fair opens Friday and rolls through July 12, more than a week of fun for the entire family. Between the events, the rides and some amazing and distinctive food, this is going to be your hot ticket for the next nine days, so take advantage of it while you can. I will be on location working the White River Broadcasting booth in the exhibitor buildings.

If climbing on your motorcycle and riding for a good cause is your thing, you might want to take part in the Misty Sanders Palmer Benefit Ride at Columbus Kawasaki-Yamaha, 6320 State Road 46 in Columbus. Proceeds will help fund cancer treatments. More details in the Ride Report at
