COLUMBUS, Ind. — A bicyclist riding in downtown Columbus Monday morning suffered two broken arms when he was struck by a truck, police said.
Leonard Brancamp, 39, of Columbus, was heading east on a sidewalk along Third Street at about 7:45 a.m., Columbus Police Department Patrolman John Thompson said.
Brancamp was riding on the north side of the road when a pickup driven by John Jervis, 43, of Columbus, stopped at the intersection of Chestnut and Third streets while northbound on Chestnut, Thompson said.
