Boil water advisory issued for some Bartholomew County residents

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Eastern Bartholomew Water Corp. has issued a boil water advisory for some customers in Wayne Township until 4 p.m. Thursday.

The affected area is south of County Road 650S, west of the railroad tracks and east of Interstate 65. The advisory was issued because of repairs to a water main this morning.

As a precaution, customers should bring water to a full boil for five minutes before consumption, use in cooking or food preparation.
