NASHVILLE — Brown County’s Whitney Williamson and Sasha Robinson combined for 39 points and dominated on the glass in leading the Eagles to a 53-38 girls basketball victory against visiting Monrovia.
“These non-conference games are more about getting stuff on the right track,” Brown County coach Mike Harmon said. “If we can get some other kids who step up and score, we will be OK.”
The Eagles (8-7) pulled away from Monrovia (8-7) late with a 20-12 advantage in the fourth quarter. Robinson finished with 22 points, and Williamson had 17. Tanner Chapman had six of her eight points in the fourth quarter.
