CEO of Circle K parent company honored

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The head of Alimentation Couche-Tard, the Canadian company that operates about 1,000 convenience stores from its Columbus-based Midwest and Great Lakes divisions under the Circle K brand, has been named Canada's Outstanding CEO of the Year.

Alain Bouchard is the president, CEO and co-founder of Couche-Tard, which started in 1980.

The award honors the leadership and achievements of one Canadian CEO each year. It is presented by the National Post, Caldwell Partners and Business News Network.
