Camp Atterbury has opened a day care center, the first at a National Guard facility.
The new facility at the southern Johnson County military installation is part of a $75 million expansion project that includes stationing more full-time soldiers at the post.
About 30 children are enrolled in the program at Camp Atterbury, which is open, and that number is expected to grow over time.
The facility can accommodate up to 100 children of full-time soldiers and National Guard members and will employ up to 20 workers.
Don't settle for a preview.
