A pair of entrepreneurs who have been in the car-wash business for six years have taken over the former Sparkle Car Wash at 3059 N. National Road and are the midst of upgrading the operation, business partner Terry Riggs said.
"We were approached by the bank that held the note on the business about coming in and taking it over," Riggs said Thursday.
Riggs said the deal to buy Sparkle became official March 1, but he and Monroe are doing upgrades to the business before putting up new Top Dog signage on what will be their second car wash in Columbus.
