Celtic fiddler Emily Ann Thompson and her husband, Kelly, will perform a free Celtic Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Bartholomew County Public library.

The concert will consist of traditional holiday songs from Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales featuring violin, piano, guitar, percussion and vocals.

Before the performance, at 6:15 p.m., Emily Ann Thompson also will give a presentation on the Irish potato famine.

The Thompsons have toured nationally and internationally and perform more than 100 concerts a year.

This program is part of the Distinguished Speakers Series funded by the Bartholomew County Library Associates.
