Cheer Fund looking for holiday site


 


The Columbus Firemen’s Cheer Fund is searching for a new building to operate its gift-giving distribution process during the holiday season.

The Cheer Fund used a maintenance building at the former wastewater treatment complex on Water Street for its storage and distribution site last year.

But the group had to leave the city-owned location after the annual gift distribution in December because the City Utilities Department needed the space for storage, Columbus Mayor Kristen Brown said.
