Columbus Mayor Kristen Brown will host a public neighborhood meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Second Baptist Church, 10th and Reed streets, to explain how the city is addressing criminal activity and other issues at the Ninth Street Park and in the surrounding neighborhood.
Police and city leaders will be on hand to help residents start and maintain a Neighborhood Watch program.
Brown said she encourages anyone who lives in the area and who is interested in helping improve the park and neighborhood, and possibly participating in the Neighborhood Watch program, to attend the meeting.
