Columbus East High School will host its annual Columbus Area College Fair from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today on the school's main floor.
More than 70 colleges, technical schools and military groups will have booths, said Doug Moore, director of guidance at Columbus East, which has hosted the event since the early 1980s.
Parents are encouraged to attend with their children to look at the offerings of schools ranging from Purdue and Indiana universities to some as far off as Chicago and Alabama.
School representatives will answer questions about such things as programs, costs, dual credit transfer opportunities, financial aid options, cars on campus and possible scholarships.
Door prizes will include gift cards, calculators and college-themed sweatshirts and T-shirts that the colleges will provide.
