Columbus firefighters are at the scene of a large house fire in the 900 block of Franklin Street, near the intersection of 10th and Franklin streets.
The house was described as "fully engulfed" when firefighters arrived at about 7 p.m.
By about 7:45 p.m., Columbus firefighters said they had accounted for all occupants and determined that no one was inside the building.
The house is described by neighbors as a "boarding house" that had been divided into as many as eight different residential rooms.
Mattresses were found on the front porch of the structure and firefighters were investigating if the fire started there.
