Columbus police arrest Indianapolis man after drug buy

Columbus Police narcotics detectives arrested an Indianapolis man after making a controlled drug buy of more than $2,000 worth of heroin.

About 20 grams of heroin was purchased from Timothy Ford Jr., 21, Indianapolis, at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Columbus Police said. The heroin was to be sold in Bartholomew County, police said.

Police arrested Ford in the 11000 block of North Executive Drive in Edinburgh, said Lt. Matt Myers, Columbus Police Department spokesman.
