Commiskey man feared for life during fatal shooting

NORTH VERNON, Ind. — The man who pulled the trigger in a Sept. 9 North Vernon fatal shooting said last week that he had feared for his own life.

Donald R. Williams, 57, of Commiskey, said Jeremy Moore, the man he shot, was acting uncharacteristically aggressive that day.

Williams spoke following the release of 911-call transcripts and a decision by the county prosecutor to not file charges in the case.
