The community Thanksgiving dinner at First Christian Church served nearly 500 diners Thursday.
That included about 232 deliveries made to people who could not attend the dinner at the church. The meals were provided in collaboration with the Lincoln Central Neighborhood Family Center and Federal Express.
About 100 volunteers started working at 7 a.m. to prepare the meals, according to organizers.
