GREENSBURG — A cruise-in, raffle, bake sale and barbecue is being planned to help complete the home remodeling project of a man who was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a neurological disease.
Organizers of the Saturday event said they will donate all proceeds to the family of Shane England to buy supplies. Volunteers from the Ramps to Freedom Wednesday Crew have agreed to donate the labor.
The day will include a barbecue and baked goods sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the entrance to Rural King, 1807 N. Broadway St., event organizer Jeff Yarnell said. A cruise-in, raffle and music will follow from 5 to 8 p.m.
