Some people have found it helped them release anger and depression. Some have realized they needed to take responsibility for their actions. And still others have learned to trade bitterness for forgiveness.

A new DivorceCare series of sessions will begin with a free meal at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 719 Fifth St., Columbus. The meeting will follow at about 6 p.m.
DivorceCare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what divorced individuals are going through.
Group attendees will gain access to DivorceCare resources to help them deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding their life. Members of a group walk alongside each other to help bear the burden of pain and confusion, according to organizers.
