East student organizing 5K walk/run June 23

Sydney Wendel, a student at Columbus East High School, is organizing a "Run with the Angels 5k Memory Walk/Run" for her senior project, which will benefit Hospice of South Central Indiana and Columbus Regional Hospital's Breast Health Center.
The run/walk will begin at 8 a.m. June 23 at Tipton Lakes Athletic Club. Participants can register online at signmeup.com/83461 or in person at 7 a.m. on the day of the race.
