EDINBURGH, Ind. — Final results are in for the Edinburgh school board at-large race, and both incumbents will keep their seats.
Alice Taulman received 41 percent of 2,348 votes, while Cathy Hamm received 38 percent. Challenger William F. "Bill" Jones received 25 percent.
Voters from Johnson and Bartholomew counties voted in the school board race. Final results from Bartholomew County came in after press time Tuesday night.
Board members will continue their search for a permanent superintendent for the school district.
Denise Bessler resigned as Edinburgh superintendent earlier this year. Since then, William Glentzer has been serving as the school district's interim leader.
